Meeting Chekov...
When I walked up to his table he sat there looking tired and just plain bored, at least that is what it looked like to me, he sat there with a woman next to him, one can only guess as to who she was. I walked up to him and said "Excuse me, Walter?" and then he brightened up and smiled and said "Hello". Immediatly I asked him if he could sign my video cassette box of an animated series episode he wrote "The Infinate Vulcan" and he pointed to the $20.00 per autograph sign, which I smiled and said no problem, and handed him the money and then the video, at first he looked at the video and said, "You do know I wasn't on this series.." and I nodded and then pointed out that it was the episode that he wrote, that really made his day, and he eagerly signed it, I didn't even have to ask him to personalize it, when we first started talking I told him my name, so after he signed it I asked him what was the one question that he always gets asked, and you guessed it, he said "How Khan knew who I was.. " and then he told me the story that he made up at a convention about him being very ill and using the ONLY bathroom on the entire ship and Khan had to go but Chekov was in there a while, so when he finally left the bathroom Khan said.. You... I will NEVER forget you.. Mr. Chekov, for making me wait this long to use the toilet.. " or something to that effect, it's been a while now and the memory is fading.
